If you have a Christian faith and want to serve the church by:
- giving support, information and advice to clients on the issues relating to the subjects such as debt, employment & benefits (among others)
- clients may be members of the congregation or members of the wider public
- Praying with clients

Administration
The administrators provide the back-up to the front-line volunteers by: filing, photocopying, arranging appointments, dealing with letters
Enquirer
Enquirers are the people who identify what the real situation facing the client. There may be ‘presenting’ issues but often
There are underlying issues that need to be addressed (i.e. lack of access to the full range of benefits).
Advisor
Advisors are experts in looking for the most appropriate way forward for the client. This may be a benefit claim, a letter to the landlord or more seriously an appeal to a Tribunal.
Faith Friend
A Faith Friend is a Christian who comes alongside a tCAS client, gives them support, prays with them and shares their faith.
Social Action Ministry
If your church is already involved in social action or is interesting in starting a social action ministry then you may want to consider becoming a tCAS centre either as an individual church or together with other churches in your town/city
